The classic dog sledding rides in winter
In winter there are fine dog sledding lead on Disko Island. There is also the possibility of longer dogsledding trips, among them to an abandoned loranstation Maligiaq northwest of Qeqertarsuaq, as well as a trip to a hunting hut in Qivittut where you can try 'Ice Fishing' at the sea ice. Tours start behind the heliport and goes along the slide track out in Itinneq. The temperature is typically -10 to -15 degrees Celsius.
